 The Metro Baseball League is a community-based organization – one of the largest of its kind in the nation – that provides a fun, competitive baseball environment for kids ages 9-15. Teams play a traveling schedule against neighboring communities from April through July, culminating with exciting league playoffs. Great kids and families are what make the MBL special. The experiences and the memories made, both on and off the field, are what they treasure the most. 

 Metro Baseball League and Minnesota Baseball Tournaments is a non-profit organization created and existing solely to serve youth baseball in Minnesota. Founded in 1992, MBL/MBT prepares kids to play baseball at different levels and is a community-based program serving the Twin Cities metro, Southern Minnesota, and Western Wisconsin. 

 Simply put, you are our first priority. Jim Brower has had a storied baseball career that started in Minnetonka MN, continued to the University of Minnesota, and on to the major leagues. Playing with several teams, Jim  became a pitching coach and finally the Director of Minor League Pitching for the Chicago Cubs. Jim has three World Series rings and a who's who in baseball of friends and relationships, Jim and his family residein Deephaven MN, Jim's passion for the game of baseball has been ingrained for life. His knowledge and commitment to youth development led to the establishment of Brower Baseball in Eden Prairie - 7000  South Washington Ave. 

Brower Baseball quickly became one of the region's premier baseball academies with diversified programs for youth of all ages (professionals too!): batting, pitrching, catching, position play, nutrition and sports psychology are all part of Brower Baseball's well rounded program. Jim and his crew  are available for presentations and clinics for organizations, coaches, and players. 

 Josh Levine brings over a decade of experience training and coaching youth, high school, and college athletes. Josh founded the Fortis Academy and has trained athletes in all sports, including football, hockey, cheerleading, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and rugby. Coach Levine grew up in Bloomington, MN and played high school hockey and ran the 100 meter sprint in track & field. After high school, Josh played one year in the United States Hockey League (USHL) for the Green Bay Gamblers. Josh then attended Princeton University  where he earned a degree in International and Public Affairs with a certificate in Near Eastern Studies .

Advanced training crosses nearly all sports today. It is more than sports specific physical training, strength and agility training. Training encompasses nutrition and psychology for athletes. Josh would call it the 'holistic approach'.  The  Fortis Academy  is located at 7000 South Washington in Eden Prairie.
